This is our third consecutive year of spending 4th of July with the Meilsoes. You could say we like each other (#besties). We decided to keep it simple and head down to Breaker's Beach on NAS in Coronado. After a whole day of beach, BBQ, and shenanigans, we drove over to the bay side of the base for the Big Bay Boom fireworks. I just love Coronado so much (even though that beach is guilty of wrecking my leg) and I always feel like I'm on vacation when I'm there. It's a lot of work to get through the holiday crazy, but so worth it! Who knows how many 4th of July's we'll have left here – Gotta live it up!
