~This Week~

Indy spent almost every morning camped out by the window to watch the "eee-eees." We finally got a new hummingbird feeder by the window, so there's lots of birdies for him to see. 

 Daysen showed me his signature skills. I was impressed. 

 I got this amazing cookbook in the mail and and I'm stoked to make every single recipe in here! 

 I made this tasty hors d'oeuvre of sauteed sausage + roasted brussel sprouts with a honey-garlic-sriracha sauce. I'm in need of a great recipe for a church event. I loved these, but they were too spicy for most people I think. The recipe hunt continues. Ideas anyone?

 We had a birthday girl's night for our friend Becca at Extraordinary Desserts. This wasn't even half the group! It's been a while since we had a ginormous girls night. Much needed. 

 We had our last Sunday dinner with the Meilsoe's before they leave for a mini hiatus. I hate when people leave me. Even if it is for a short time. We had flat-bread pizzas and Erin made the best chocolate mousse ever. 

Also this week...
Sean took kids to see the new Percy Jackson movie. 
We did tons of yard work and cleaned the garage to save my sanity.
Sean was able to trace his genealogy back to Adam and Eve. 
And our family watched this funny video a billion and one times.
