We Made Them

Alrighty people.  So, it needs to be said that this is an off-the-cuff photo shoot in Balboa Park and was not done by certified professionals who know what the heck they're doing.  It was more like - Let' say... chasing cats, in the heat, through a crowded park of photo-bombers.  Quit judging me!  Ha ha.  We just dragged everyone down there and took a bunch of pictures and prayed some would turn out.  We took 599 pictures, guys.  Less than 100 were acceptable and less than half of those I'm actually sharing.  I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does.  Some are grainy, out of focus, and repetitive.  So there.  It's been said.

The stars aligned just right so that Sean was able to make it home in time to spend a few days with his Mama Annye before she had to leave us.  We knew we needed to take advantage of that sitch and get some pictures of us all together.  We all have an insanely deep love for Balboa Park - so we knew that was the place we had to go.

To explain the blog post title.  This might sound like something an arrogant jerk-face would say (although I'm not I swear) but, we have some pretty cool & good looking kiddlets.  Whenever we get nice comments about our kids we look at each other and wink or whisper a little phrase.  A phrase we secretly know the other one is thinking, because we can't help but feel blessed to be able to say it.

"We made them."

Reality check. No one ever looks at the friggin' camera. Seriously, kids man.
