Our Enrichment Committee at church decided to take the summer off - because, well, summers are crazy busy and people are traveling and accommodating guests. We decided to get back into the swing of things with a casual get together on my patio. No stressful agenda - we just gathered around the firepit and enjoyed chatting and eating s'mores under my twinkling lights.
...Until my firepit quit working later in the evening and then looked like it was going to blow up. Last week was a real winner for me! Wa waaa. Luckily, I have a gas stove and we were able to roast our mallows that way.
