This is the second consecutive year that Sean has been away for work on Mother's Day. I know I should be accustomed to him missing everything for work, but I still get kind of pouty about it. Really, I just wanna be pampered, and if he's not here, then who's gonna do it?!?!
Like last year, I took minions to church and then planned an easy dinner. I received cute cards and lots of chocolate, so I'm calling it a win. I feel so blessed to be a mother to my boys. They really are the best kids! I'm especially grateful for my wonderful Mommy, grandmothers, and mother in law – who've paved the way with greatness. Go Moms!
Clearly, it really does pay to have 4 kids.
On the Mother's Day menu | Homemade pesto pizza with italian sausage, roasted sweet potato, and caramelized onions. Dessert was chocolate covered strawberries and the most delish cheesecake – made by Erin. Yumfest!
